75TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE FOUNDATION OF AEROCLUB REUS (05/02/1935) - is
On May 2, 2010, the Aeroclub de Reus met his well deserved 75 years of its founding. An important date in our history and especially the history of aviation in Reus, also for the entire territory.
This will be a special year for the Aeroclub de Reus. Our 75 anniversary and the inauguration of the restored former military hangar in 1937, a building of singular beauty and with a size of 2,650 m2.
This hangar, Hangar History Today, known also by the Russians, having been built during the English Civil War in 1937 by Russian engineers in the then airport of Reus is about to be inaugurated in the near future.
This process of transfer from the airport to campus facilities of the Aeroclub de Reus, extending its recovery from Reus Airport, and finally its restoration by the Aeroclub de Reus, has been with the cooperation of the Historic Memory Catalunya, the city of Reus, the Tourist Board of the Provincial de Tarragona, AENA and even the Aeroclub de Reus. To all of them our appreciation and gratitude for having come true conservation of a building so closely associated with aviation in our city.

Agradecer a estas personas que entusiastas de los aviones y de todo lo aeronáutico fundaron en el 1935 el Aeroclub de Reus y fueron los artífices de los primeros pasos para la construcción en Reus de un aeródromo, hoy conocido como Aeropuerto de Reus y que da servicio a todo el territorio, en lo comercial, en lo económico and tourism in it, with an open future for the benefit of all the land and that vivimos in this country.

On May 2, 2010 the Aeroclub de Reus turned his well deserved 75 years of its foundation. An important date in our history and especially for the history of aviation in Reus, also for the entire territory.
This is a very special year for the Aeroclub de Reus. Our 75th anniversary and the inauguration of the restored old military hangar in 1937, a building of singular beauty and with a size of 2650 m2.
The hangar, now Historic Hangar, called also the Russians, having been built during the English Civil War in 1937 by Russian engineers, then the aerodrome Reus is about to be inaugurated in the near future.
This process of transfer from airport facilities to the site of the Aeroclub de Reus, its recovery against the extension of the Reus airport, and finally restores the Flying Club Reus has been thanks to the collaboration of Historical Memory Catalonia, Reus City Council, the Tourism Council of Tarragona Province, AENA and himself Aeroclub de Reus.
